We will shortly be able to supply Competition brake linings, these linings are under test at present with 2 of the leading cars in the 1950 to 1955 category, one in Under 3 ltr Drum Braked class & the other in the Over 3ltr Drum Braked class in the Motor Racing Legends Woodcote Trophy series.

Both cars are running cast iron drums, the pedal pressures are high at present but we are finding a solution to this.

As soon as we are happy with the linings we can offer we will be able to bond & rivet them to your brake shoes (the metal parts), for the rarer types of shoe we can have the basic shoe laser cut & tig welded together so that you have a spare set / or sets.

NOTE: THESE HARDER BRAKE SHOES WILL BE FOR HARD USE CIRCUIT RACING ONLY, FOR FAST ROAD APPLICATIONS SEE BELOW.

We can offer a compound suitable for original Alfin brake drums in very good condition - not Typecast drums as these require special materials according to the manufacturers, our compound was tested at Castle Combe & works well.

THESE BRAKE SHOES CAN BE USED FOR FAST ROAD & FOR CARS WITH LOW WEIGHT, LOWER OVERALL SPEED  USING SMALL DRUMS USED IN CIRCUIT RACING OR POSSIBLE SPRINT / HILL CLIMB USE.
