54205 Spring, Trunk Lid Stay, Saloon,  in Stainless or Polished Stainless

Does not fit DHC or FHC which is 53755 just produced Sept 23

To fit this part you need to remove the stay, mount the lower part of the stay in a vice with soft jaws, locate the spring on the upper pin & lift it flat to shorten the distance as much as possible then grip the spring loop with sort jawed pliers & pull it over the bottom pin, it seems to short but this is how AM made it. MIND YOUR FINGERS / HANDS
