Our water pumps are rebuilt with a stainless spindle & stainless bearing spacers (so no rust can fall into the bearing from the inside) with high quality bearings, instead of a press fit pulley & impellor, they are fitted with a centre bolt in the pulley (like the later V8) & a cap screw holding the impellor on, both with suitable spacers to keep the pulley & impellor in the right place, because we use positive fastening instead of the dubious press fit and or some kind of roll pin our pumps are more reliable than others.

Suffice to say the bodies & pulleys are blasted & repainted, the photo is a pump that has been fitted & had a minor problem so the body & pulley haven't been freshly painted.

 

Because this is an exchange pump we need your old pump to see whether the housing, pulley & impellor are usable, so no price can be given.but most pumps can be rebuilt  quite easily

Like all of Four Ashes products it is vastly improved from the standard product

 

PS we are looking into getting some slightly oversize impellors made to improve the efficiency of the original pump

Please note that for good cooling the system still relies on a radiator in good condition, the thermostat & bypass system working correctly (not removed), the hoses in good condition, etc
