DB7 i6 air filter service kit for STD K & N air filter - these filters as fitted to the DB7 i6 will last for about 500,000 miles, they can be cleaned & re-oiled at every 45,000 mile service as we do in our own service schedule - they don't require replacing as AML suggest (AML cost £68.87), in fact they work better the dirtier they are to a point !!

What you need to do is clean the filter with our service kit (K & N part no 99-5000) for about £13 + vat, 355ml of filter cleaner, 204ml of filter oil, enough to carry out roughly 4 cleans & re-oils, maybe more, Halfords charge £13.32 + vat for this kit if they have it.

Remove the filter from the behind the N/S inner wing plastic splash panel, wash with the special cleaner, allowing it to soak in for 10 minutes or so keeping the filter moist, rinse out with water from a tap or hose, allow to dry naturally (not comprersse air) & then re-oil.
