Cross Tube end seal for ends of alloy Cross Member / Front Axle, DB2 to MkIII, ( just below the front shock absorber)

This seal replaces 55087, 55612 & 55088, we have remade this seal kit as a lip seal with wiper (double lip seal) and an alloy carrier for the seal with an outer O ring, the alloy carrier is a one time purchase, easily fitted with some grease on the outer O ring & it can easily be flicked out with a spike to replace the lip seal.

This new arrangement has proved to be more successful than the earlier PTFE seal which we have now discarded.as its success rate was only about 90%, often leaking from around the seal not from the centre.

The original Trailing Link shaft seals have a Metric size internal size combination with the Imperial outer size, our seal is the only direct 'off the shelf replacement seal' for these shafts,

Good as it gets, however the condition of the shaft play a large part.
