This oil filter element comes with both types of oil filter sealing ring, the thicker one is used in the DB2 to DB4 engines & the thinner filter ring is fitted to DB5 to DBS 6 & DB6 Mk2.

These filters with the thicker sealing ring are becoming increasingley harder to find nowadays.

The AML part using the same number as we use only buys you the oil filter with the thinner sealing ring as fitted fitted to DB5 to DBS 6

Our filter is about a £1.00 dearer than the AML part, however this is more than made up for correct sealing ring.
