STD valve guides for 11/32" valve stems as originally fitted to DB2 to MkII VB6 series engines,
The only problem with the original valves are that the head has to come off to 'tip' the valves for adjusting the valve clearances, if it cant be bought back into range via extra thick cam followers that can be internally ground to get the right thickness.
These guides are made in hard wearing Colsibro, the ideal material for valve guides as it dissipates heat very well, doesnt corrode like the original chilled cast iron guides, lasts forever and is able to use very small valve to guide clearances so oil consumption via guides isnt a problem.
If any one sells a brassy coloured guide, the material is possibly CZ114, a very cheap high tensile brass thats fairly soft & doesnt last that long, why use this & remove the head after a few years.
