We use KBD / Alperform crankshafts as we believe Astons deserve the best.

Both of these cranks (road & race types) are not fully counterbalanced, cranks made & supplied by other AM specialists nearly always are fully counterbalanced which is wrong & sets up poor / bad harmonics within the engine.

The race crank & the road car crank are also lighter than the standard crank.

The road car crank uses a smaller lip rear oil seal than the STD DB2 & 2/4 flange, it then uses your own modified flywheel or a new flywheel.
