Crankshaft dampers for road or race, designed to fit the nose of an Alperform LD series Race Crank we have now designed an adaptor for road car cranks, either Aperform or original AML crank as the nose is the same.

Note that there are several things that you need to know before ordering a Damper from us, the damper needs some mods to the front cover so it can only be fitted when the front cover is off or the engine is rebuilt.

The Damper has to be a press fit, so it needs special equipment to fit it & remove it.

It also comes with alloy pulleys as the fan belt will be about 12 or 15mm further forward than it was.

However once fitted it should make the crank & engine last a lot longer, in our experience they are quieter & feel much smoother than without one.
