Shorty 40 & 45 DCOE (can be made for 45 DCO 3 on application) Weber inlet manifolds & linkage kits, they are 55mm long through the centre line so they can be easily fitted under the bonnet without altering too much, these manifolds are largely based on the DBB, Service Dept & Early Works DB2 inlet manifold lengths..
4 types offered, a 40/40 for C/I heads with 40 DCOE's, a 40/36 for alloy Alperform heads using 40 DCOE, a 45/40 for for C/I heads using 45 DCOE & a 45/36 for alloy Alperform heads using 45 DCOE - suitable for DB2, DB2/4 or MkIII. Please specify what head & car.
They are supplied with linkages, special manifold to head gaskets, and full fitting instructions.
Fuel rails for each application for use with the STD braided carburettor supply hose can be supplied at extra cost.
Uses STD throttle cable without alteration.
Supplied with carb choke blanking plates in stainless with gaskets.
CNC Machined to ensure optimum port alignment & manufactured to give clearance for air cleaners or an air box as they are at a 5° inclined angle which is the maximum Weber advise, this gives an extra 10mm height at the carb tip over our & competitors previous manifolds, this also means that they don't foul the chassis leg.
Can be supplied for 40 & 45 DCO3.
Note: Weber carbs not supplied with kit. Order seperately.
Note - we recently built two 2749cc engines using this kit with 40DCOE carbs, ported head & road cams, these produced just over 200 bhp with impressive torque low down the rpm range.
We also supply New Weber DCOE 40/45 carburettors and New 45 DCO 3 Carburettors, made & supplied by a good friend of ours, Norman Seeney, these Weber 45 DCO3 carbs work properly, we cannot vouch for any other maker of DCO3 carbs.
These could also be used with GTC/Jenvey Heritage DCOE throttle bodies bolted direct to the manifolds, our linkage, our Nickel plated external fuel rail, a Throttle Position Sensor & Temp Sensor, a crank fire ignition system with pegs on the flywheel or ring gear & the pickup bolted into the flywheel housing but using the original distributor & leads for authenticity, using an aftermarket ECU to control the system - the purpose: to make classic engines compatible with Inner City low emissions zones, a well set up DB2, 2/4 or MkIII engine in very good condition is already quite a low emission engine if using the right cams which are timed correctly, easily complying with pre 92 checks
We also give out basic advice for carb settings to get you running if we sell you the manifolds or carbs, we sell Weber carburettor spares including, main jets, air correctors, idle jets, and chokes.
