Door Glove Pocket Cubby boxes as original & originally fitted to all models from 1950 to 1959, made in bare alloy with wood ends ready for trimming,  

They are a nominal 8" between wooden board sides but could be made at 8.5" or even 9", the nominal width was 9.25" wide of the alloy less the boards but can be made up to 9.75" wide (as they are made to order) which should still fit in the original door frame

the photo shows a non std 9..75" (247.65mm) being offered up to the car before trimming
