78175 Gearlever alloy bracket / casting for MkIII Overdrive type gearbox, suitably strengthened with an extra rib over the original alloy part as that was/ is easily broken, cast in LM25 & heat treated.

Takes bronze bush for gearlever mounting bracket / spindle 90256 & is best bought with 90256 & fitted together as the bronze bush is a pain to fit, enquire

The early overdrive cars after AM300/3/1401 had a fabricated steel gearlever bracket fitted, presumably when they productionised this part they then cast it in alloy, it also had a metalstick bush
